Task one: W hat is the title of this dance style? - The Paso Doble What genre of dance does it come from? - It was developed around the 1920s and the genre of this dance style is latin ballroom. It actually first originated in southern France however, modelled after the sound, drama and movement of Spanish bull fighting. What is the meaning of the words ‘Paso Doble ’, which language does this come from ? - Paso Doble means double step or two step in Spanish. It is the rapid paced Spanish military march used by infantry troops. The music accompanies this as well.
